Developed by Glaziers – for customers who want glass cut to size
Behind Glasshop.dk stands the experienced glazier F. Weien Svendsen A/S, who has been working with glass since 1884. Their professional pride and precision needed to be reflected in a platform where both private and professional customers can easily configure shower glass, mirrors, and partitions – directly online.
With a tried-and-tested production setup behind them, the goal was to support a digital customer journey that matches their high offline service level: thoughtful product configurations, clear communication, and a flexible solution ready to be scaled further.
Clarification Phase
The project was driven by detailed functional requirements – ranging from help with options and visual indicators to more advanced topics such as product logic, add-ons, calculations, and conversion flow optimization. The collaboration between W360 and Glasshop was agile, with continuous prioritization and development in close dialogue.
An important part of the project was ensuring the correct setup of the webshop structure, so both user experience and data integration could function optimally. Special emphasis was placed on the user experience and administration of custom-sized glass.
API Integration
One of the core elements of the solution is the integration with GlasData from Finn Levinsen A/S, which is used for handling glass products, measurements, and orders.
With this integration, Glasshop.dk can automatically fetch updated glass data, options, and – most importantly – prices. This ensures that all combinations, prices, and measurements are valid. It reduces errors, saves time, and strengthens overall operational reliability – while also ensuring that the shop always offers the sharpest prices in a market where fluctuating energy costs can have a major impact on glass prices.
The Result
The new solution makes it easy for customers to configure and order custom glass – and easy for the glazier to run a professional e-commerce business.
- Responsive and user-friendly OpenCart solution
- Integration with GlasData for precise pricing and data handling
- Intuitive help icons and configuration fields
- Purchase of all types of custom-sized glass
- Clear flows and fewer clicks to purchase
A Complex Solution
Craftsmanship meets digital functionality
Behind Glasshop.dk is the glazing company F. Weien Svendsen A/S. Their webshop is not just a sales channel – it is an extension of their professional pride.
W360’s task was to strengthen the digital presence without compromising the trust and precision that define a skilled glazier.
We built upon the existing setup and further developed the solution in OpenCart, ensuring that both design and functionality match the complexity of the offered products – whether the customer needs a simple piece of glass for a greenhouse or a unique shower wall that fits a bathroom with slanted ceilings.
With a strong visual identity and a functional structure, Glasshop.dk today stands out even sharper online – as a professional and commercial authority in the market for custom glass.

Clarification Phase
Technical complexity – made accessible for both customer and glazier
The collaboration with Glasshop.dk began with an in-depth review of their existing webshop solution and the business-critical needs that had to be supported. This included everything from configuration options and product logic to integration with GlasData from Finn Levinsen, which is central for assortment and order management.
We worked closely together to translate requirements and functions into concrete development tasks. Each option and flow was tested, adjusted, and approved, ensuring the solution could meet both customer needs and the glazier’s demands for reliability and flexibility.
Collaboration
Throughout the entire process, there was a high degree of mutual understanding. Glasshop had a clear vision and deep knowledge of their market – while W360 contributed with technical translation, UX improvements, and implementation in a flexible and scalable OpenCart setup.
